Bold take: The Seattle Seahawks are going 15–2 in 2022. Vegas gave us the easiest schedule out of any other team in the NFL. If we weren’t in the NFC West I would 100% agree but we are so 99%. Here’s a quick game breakdown of each game and why they will find a way to go 15–2. For background the defense has drastically improved since the lowest points of last season. By the end of the season they were performing at what we expected from them. Russell Wilson just got more weapons in the draft. A true WR3 that seems to be mimicing the Rams offense when they went to the Superbowl. Wilson arguably hasn’t had a true WR3 since 2012/2013 to that level. Right now we have two WR1s basically with a unhealthy running game at times getting younger. The only downfall I see is we missed a huge opportunity to grab a great center that Kansas City got ten picks later in the draft. I wouldn’t be suprised to see some rushes pushing the center over making Russ dance around in the pocket. The rest of the line is getting solid and hopefully they can stay healthy. All around we will be in the playoffs again with a chance to get to the NFC championship game. If we can get there, I wouldn’t put it past the team to get to the superbowl and win given the team is healthy

Week 1 at Colts: Win. Carson Wentz still thinks he is playing for Philly and is confused why he is wearing Blue and White. Look for the Colts to work out the kinks while Wilson shows why he deserves an MVP.

Week 2 vs Titans: Win. Russ is cooking and the defense is healthy. Titans will be forced to throw leaving Derrick Henry out of the money.

Week 3 at Vikings: Win. Kirk Cousins don’t want the smoke. The defense will step up.

Week 4 at 49ers: Win. With the QB situation up in the air and uncertainty around Garoppolo, expect Seattle Defense to capitalize early and often. Russ is going to have to stop holding the ball and throw quick passes and run the ball.

Week 5 vs Rams: Win. Matt Stafford will still be working out the offense and building a connection with his receivers. These matchups have always been close so any advantage is all it can take to push the edge.

Week 6 at Steelers: Win. Big Ben can’t stay healthy and the Steelers refuse to find their new QB1. Juju is still dancing not focused on being a teammate.

Week 7 vs Saints: Win. Drew Brees is gone. Taysom Hill and Jameis Winston are in. Teddy Bridgewater had our number when Drew got hurt a season or two ago. Look for the Seahawks to stay strong through the first half of the season.

Week 8 vs Jaguars: Win. This will look like when we played Joe Burrow and the Bengals last year just with a Seattle defense that will cover the pass. The Jaguars still stink. Don’t forget that.

Week 9 BYE WEEK: The last 2 seasons at least we have seen Russell Wilson come out of the bye week and regress massively.

Week 10 at Packers: Win. Assuming Rodgers is gone, this will be like playing Nathan Peterman with Jordan Love starting his 2nd year in the league.

Week 11 vs Cardinals: Win. Hail Murray is held in the pocket and isn’t given time in Centurylink.

Week 12 at Washington: Win. They weren’t ready a year ago. They’re not ready today. This is a team in rebuild mode. Their could be a suprise upset here but unlikely.

Week 13 vs 49ers: Win. Close game but we clutch it at home and go 2-0 on the 49ers for the season.

Week 14 at Texans: Win. It’s the Texans. You thought we were that bad?

Week 15 at Rams: Loss. Rams find a way in a close affair. Matt Stafford finds a way. Aaron Donald eats the offensive line and DK Metcalf gets bullied by Jalen Ramsey while Lockett goes for 150 yards and a TD.

Week 16 vs Bears: Win. Experience over talent and youth late in the regular season.

Week 17 vs Lions: Win. It’s the Lions in week 17. It’s gonna get ugly for them.

Week 18 at Cardinals: Loss. Cardinals got our number at the end of the year and we’re not playing for playoff contention.
